  Our first day of filming was a mix of excitement and challenges! Here’s a breakdown: What Went Well: The team was motivated and ready to go. Everyone was on the same page, and we had a solid plan in place. The setup went smoothly, and the actors performed well in their first scenes. We were able to capture some great footage in terms of lighting and framing. The locations we chose were visually stunning, and the shots were coming out just how we envisioned them. The sound team did a fantastic job setting up mics, and the ambient noise didn’t interfere too much with recording. Challenges: The weather turned out to be more unpredictable than we expected. There were some unexpected gusts of wind, which affected both sound and camera stability. Some of the actors struggled with line delivery, especially in the more emotional scenes, and we had to redo a couple of takes. Now that our film project is done, we’re really proud of what we created, but it wasn’t easy. One big issue we had was with bad weather during filming, which messed up some scenes. We fixed this by re-shooting on clearer days and adjusting the lighting in editing. We also had to make some changes to the story, like adding more close-up shots to show how the characters were feeling. During the project, we learned a lot about editing software, sound design, and teamwork. Using what we learned in class about camera angles, lighting, and sound effects really helped us make scenes more powerful. Overall, were happy with how it turned out and can’t wait to share it!

  We spent  about 2 hours  editing this week, focusing on fine-tuning sound effects and transitions. Chrisleah and janai worked on adjusting audio levels, while  audrianna and kennise  focused on color grading and cutting scenes smoothly. Additional Filming: We decided to do some extra filming to capture  close-up shots and reaction scenes  that make the story more intense. Script Update: New Changes Made We changed some of the words and made the scenes a bit scarier. For example, Ethan’s lines are shorter and creepier to make him seem strange. Here’s a part of the new script: Lila:  (nervous) Are you sure you’re okay? Ethan:  (voice low) Sometimes… we don’t see what’s coming. New Storyboard: What We Changed and Why Scene 1: The Meeting • Camera Shots:  We used  over-the-shoulder shots  when Lila and Ethan talk to feel like we’re part of the conversation. • Sounds:  We added  birds chirping and leaves rustling  at first, but these sounds slowly go away as things get creepy. • Why We Changed It:  We wanted to make it feel friendly at first, then slowly scary. Scene 2: The Change • Camera Effects:  We made the camera  shake a little  when Ethan’s eyes turn black to show something is really wrong. • Sounds:  We added a  low, spooky sound  when the lights flicker. • Why We C...

  Lighting was really important in our film project. We used bright light for happy scenes and dim light for serious or scary parts. This helped show how the characters were feeling and made the scenes more interesting. When we were editing, we also changed the lighting a bit. We made some scenes brighter or darker and used warm colors for happy parts and cool colors for serious parts. We fixed shadows and made the light look softer to make the scenes look nicer. Overall, the lighting helped a lot to show the mood and make the film look better.

  The group has been working well together on the film project. Everyone has been helping and doing their part. Some people are better at editing, while others are good at filming and planning scenes.its been a bit hard to find times when everyone can meet and to agree on ideas, but we’re making it work. For me, the hardest part has been the weather messing up our filming plans and trying to remember lines. Editing has also been tricky because I had to try different video effects and transitions to see what looked best. Sound editing is new to me, so figuring out what music to use and how to balance sounds has been a challenge too. Even with these problems, our team has done a good job working together and solving issues. Im learning a lot about editing, planning, and teamwork.
