All American is a mix of sports drama and family drama. It has an exciting football games, it’s mainly in common sports show, and deep family moments, like in dramas. This mix, called genre hybridity, works well for people who enjoy sports and drama. By mixing these genres, this show gets more viewers because it has something for everyone. 

Narratives 

The story of All American is about Spencer James a high school football player who moves to Beverly Hills to play football this show follows his journey as he tries to fit in a new school while staying connected to his old neighborhood. The main themes are friendship, family , teamwork and finding a place in the world 
the plot is build around conflicts and balancing two different worlds and solving problems with friends , family and teamworks. 

Characters 

The characters in All American can fit into Propp’s theory , which says stories often have certain types of characters, like hero’s and helpers. Spencer is the hero because he works hard to help his family and friends while following his dreams. Coach Billy Baker is like a helper, guiding Spencer on and off the field. Some characters show how society is changing, like Olivia , who talks about though issues like addiction and mental health. This shows the connect to real life problems.

Initial script

Setting: A quiet city park at dusk. The streetlights flicker to life as the sun dips below the skyline, casting long shadows across the walking paths. Leaves rustle in the cool evening breeze, and the distant hum of traffic blends with the occasional laughter of parkgoers.
